The northern and central regions are experiencing a new hot front with the highest temperature of 39 degrees centigrade.
According to the National Centre for Hydrometeorological Forecasting, the peak of the hot wave will be on Friday and Saturday. However, some northern and central localities would see rain by late afternoon or evening.
The lowest temperature would be 27-30 degrees centigrade in mountainous areas, while the highest temperature would be over 39 degrees centigrade.
Hanoi’s temperature would range 28-39 degrees centigrade.
The hot weather has been forecasted to last in the northern and central regions in some days to come.
The National Centre for Hydrometeorological Forecasting reported that the July average temperature this year in Vietnam will be about 0.5 degrees Celsius higher than in previous years. The temperatures may be 0.5-1 degrees Celsius higher in the northern region.
