According to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, the hot weather will expand in the northern region from Tuesday with the highest temperature of 35-37 degrees centigrade.

The northern and central regions of Vietnam have been forecasted to experience a hot front from Monday
The heat wave would last until May 31. After that, northern localities would see downpours.
Central localities from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen would have the highest temperature of 38 degrees on May 29-30. From June 3, they would see rain with strong winds.
Meanwhile, the Central Highlands and southern regions are facing rain with the highest rainfall of 80mm. The rainy weather will continue for many days to come. Warnings of whirlwinds, hail and landslides have also been issued.
