Ha Ton Quyen pedestrian and food street, which is 300 metres long, is expected to become operational from the third quarter of this year.

Tran Thi Bich Tram, vice chairman of the District 11 People’s Committee, said the street would open from 4 pm to 10 pm every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It will have around 70 stalls selling food, fashion and souvenirs.
Bare land plots beside the street will be used for parking lots, mobile toilets and welcome gates.
Ha Ton Quyen is now home to many Chinese people and is well-known for Chinese dumplings.
Once being operated as a pedestrian and food street, Ha Ton Quyen is expected to be an attractive destination for visitors.
HCM City now has Nguyen Hue and Bui Vien pedestrian streets.
