More train services for Hung Kings holiday
Eight trains with 5,200 seats will be added to the Hanoi-HCM City route. On April 12, the corporation will add two trains from Hanoi to Vinh City and a Hanoi to Dong Hoi train. On April 13, there will be a train from Hanoi to Thanh Hoa. On April 15, they will add a Dong Hoi to Hanoi train, two from Vinh to Hanoi and one train from Thanh Hoa to Hanoi.
On Hanoi-Lao Cai, Hanoi-Haiphong, Hanoi-Dong Dang, Hanoi-Quan Trieu, and Yen Vien-Ha Long routes, the corporation will maintain 12 trains per day. After adding more passenger carriages, they will have a maximum of 10,000 seats.
Saigon Railways also announced that they will open eight more trains on HCM City-Nha Trang route during the holiday period.
Since the Hung Kings Festival falls on Sunday, April 14 this year, government workers will be given one day off on Monday, April 15.
