With a total length of 880 meters, the zipline is the longest of its kind in Vietnam and is also longer than several other popular ziplines in the region, such as the Mega Zipline Santos (450 meters) in Singapore and Dahilaya (840 meters) in the Philippines.
It’s also recognized as having the highest slope nationwide, with a 130-meter height difference between the start and the end points. Those taking the zipline can therefore “fly” at a speed of up to 100 km/h.
They are also able to challenge themselves with a quick jump (a brief freefall) from a height of 5.8 meters - the highest in the country.
To ensure safety, Fantasticable AeroFun, a leading global company in adventure sports and especially known as a zipline and cable builder for popular sites around the world, such as France’s longest zipline, La Colmiane, at 2,700 meters, the Zipline Roccamassima in Italy, at 2,225 meters, and the Zipline Tyrolcable de Martigny in Switzerland, at 1,000 meters, was invited to build the zipline in Nha Trang.
The new zipline is expected to provide visitors with a new and unique experience and adds to the entertainment options available in the coastal city.
Together with the zipline are other entertainment activities at Vinpearl Nha Trang, such as a large aquarium, the world’s largest area of rubber floats, with a maximum capacity of 700 to 750 people at one time, the country’s tallest Sky Wheel, and a five-continent botanical park.
Zipline is an adventure game that originates from a common type of transport in mountainous areas. It involves a long cable connecting a mountain with lower ground below that people ride along. It’s popular around the world and has won favor in Vietnam in recent years, attracting a large number of local and foreign tourists.
