Kumho Industrial Co., a construction unit of South Korea\'s Kumho Asiana Group, said Monday that it has obtained a US$45 million deal to build an office building in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Under the deal with Vietnam\'s Saigon Invest Group, Kumho Industrial will build the 30-story commercial building, the company said in a statement.
It will take 34 months to complete the building, Kumho Industrial said.
The builder has been engaged in a project to build a residential and commercial complex in Ho Chi Minh City since March last year, with the aim of completing it by 2012.
Kumho Industrial has been put under a debt restructuring program since early this year due to a severe cash crunch sparked by its parent group\'s purchase of major local builder Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co. in 2006.
