The team confiscated 102 metal canisters containing N₂O and 170 assorted empty cylinders at a chemical business owned by Tran Minh Khanh in Dong Anh Commune. All items lacked documentation or labelling indicating their origin.
The force also found 25 canisters of N₂O and 191 unlabelled metal cylinders at the chemical business run by Nguyen Duc Nam in Phuc Thinh Commune.
Both of the owners were unable to produce invoices confirming the origin of the goods.
According to the Hanoi Market Surveillance Department, its units will continue to inspect the origin of goods in the coming period. The focus will be on sectors such as e-commerce, fuel, gas, alcohol, tobacco, raw materials, chemicals, food safety, cosmetics, and fashion.
