On May 26, the Ho Chi Minh City Forest Protection Department, in coordination with police in Ba Ria Ward, carried out an unannounced inspection at an ornamental wildlife business on Cach Mang Thang Tam Street.
During the inspection, officers discovered 45 red-whiskered bulbuls being kept at the premises. Only 10 birds were accompanied by documents proving their lawful origin, while the owner could not provide valid paperwork for the remaining 35 birds.
