Streets in HCM City have been covered in scary Halloween decorations.


Halloween has become increasingly popular in Vietnam and in the country's biggest city of HCM City, shops, bars and restaurants are taking good advantage of the festival to attract more customers.


Many shops and restaurants in the city centre have put up Halloween decorations.

A 10-metre-long dragon has been built at another bar on Bui Vien Street for the festival. It took the staff one week to complete their decorations.

The head of a clown hung at the door of a shop, attracting attention from passers-by.

Many shops in the city have prepared large stocks of items to serve the high demand for Halloween decorations.

A shop owner, Nguyen Bich Ha, said that clothing and accessories are among the best seller items for Halloween.


Bui Vien Walking Street is attracting more tourists as the festival nears.
