According to the municipal Public Transport Management Centre, the Bus 61 service linking Cho Lon Station and Le Minh Xuan Industrial Park and the Bus 86 running from Ben Thanh Market to Ton Duc Thang University will be reopened by the end of this month.
Bus route 57
The two services along with the 57 and 61-6 were suspended for upgrading.
Bus 57 connecting Phuoc Binh Market and Hiep Binh High School has also been reopened since May 15.
According to Phuong Trang FUTA Bus Lines Corporation, buses on these routes have 40 seats.
Tran Quang Lam, director of the HCM City Department of Transport, said the city was making efforts to improve the quality of bus services to attract more passengers.
