A Hanoi culture exhibition, jointly organised by the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the city’s Library, opened on February 5. Hundreds of books, articles, and photographs depicting Hanoian culture are on display at the library. Visitors get a glimpse of daily life and customs, costumes and cuisine.
Visitor Tran Thi Nhu Lan from Hai Ba Trung district, said Hanoian culture is besieged by modern life styles. She hopes more and more similar exhibitions will open to help younger generations understand more about the city’s culture and preserve the traditions of the original Hanoians.
