The beach which has a total investment of VND100 billion is now being jointly managed and operated by several agencies of the Ha Long People’s Committee.
The operator, which would be selected through the bidding, would be responsible for maintaining and repairing the beach and running services, including parking lots.
The operator would also have to arrange cleaning and lifeguards at the beach.
Hon Gai, the biggest artificial beach in Vietnam, is part of a VND680-billion project to upgrade Tran Quoc Nghia coastal road which links Ha Long and Cam Pha cities.
Since being put into use last May, the beach has become a popular destination for visitors to Ha Long.
