Vietnamese gymnast Phan Thi Ha Thanh won a gold medal at the Challenge Cup in Doha, Qatar on March 29. She scored 14,825 points to top the list in the women’s jumping event after being placed 5th with 14,100 points in the qualifying round.
Larisa Andreea (Romania) came second with 14,675 points and Giulia Steingruber (Switzerland) third with 14,662 points to get the silver and bronze, respectively. The women’s jumping event has attracted 24 athletes, including six from Vietnam.
