Fuel prices keep falling

Domestic retail petroleum prices fell at 3 pm today, November 21, following a decision by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

The price of biofuel E5 RON92 declined by VND110 to VND19,340 per litre, while RON95 fell by VND80 to VND20,520 per litre.

Diesel prices fell by VND70 to VND18,500 per litre; kerosene dropped by VND60 to VND18,920 per litre. Meanwhile, mazut prices rose by VND10 to VND16,010 per kilo.

The two ministries decided not to use the Petrol Price Stabilisation Fund for this adjustment.

Domestic petrol prices have decreased for two consecutive sessions after a single increase.

Fuel prices in Vietnam have remained at their lowest level for the past three years. So far this year, petrol has increased 21 times and fallen 25 times, while diesel has seen 20 increases and 25 decreases.
