With a romantic performance, France took home the first prize of the International Firework Contest 2010 held in Da Nang City, followed by the USA in second and a tie for third with Portugal, Japan and Vietnam.
The French team ecstatic in victory
In the evening on March 28, dozens of thousands of local people and tourists flocked to Han River to attend the final round of the contest. Under the rain, the USA and France demonstrated impressive and amazing firework performances.
From the early moments, team "Pyrotecnico" from the USA, left the audience breath-taken and in awe with a Rock n’ Roll melody composed by Ralph Piacquadio along with lights, colour and firework blasts in the sky.
Unlike the USA team, the French team gave the audience a poetic painting in the sky and reflected its beauty off the Han River.
The “Legend of Au Co and the Golden Dragon” were the theme of Jacques Couturier from France. With a smooth melody and romantic love story, Au Co and Golden Dragon reappeared in front of audiences.
