Anti-social crime police (C45) are investigating the possible theft and sale of Nike shoes by employees of Vietnam Freetrend Industrial Co.
Employees suspected of stealing Nike shoes
A worker at Freetrend Industrial was caught on January 12 trying to transport dozens pairs of shoes to the outside. The shoes are allegedly sold to a trader before being brought by shops.
The police searched houses of at least four workers and three shop owners suspected of being involved in the racket, with 78 pairs of shoes seized.
