The GreenCar taxi service is operated by Green and Smart Mobility Joint Stock Company (GSM), a subsidiary of Vietnamese conglomerate Vingroup.

According to GSM, the opening price for the first kilometre is VND17,000. For the following 24 kilometres, the fare is VND16,500 per kilometre, and from the 26th kilometre onwards, the fare is VND12,000.
If passengers travel round trip with a minimum distance of 25 kilometres each way, they will be offered a 50 discount on the return fare.
The electric taxi service will also serve tours to different spots such as the Imperial City of Hue and Thien Mu Pagoda with a full-package fee of between VND550,000-800,000.

Between May 24 and June 14, people in Hue City will be given a discount of up to 50 percent when booking the service.
GSM has begun operating 1,200 electric cars in Hanoi and HCM City.
