The visit will be made at the invitation of President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Tran Dai Quang.
Egypt was the first Arabian country to establish relationship with Vietnam. On September 1, 1963, the two nations announced official diplomatic relations.
Trade revenue between Vietnam and Egypt hit about US$314 million in 2016, of which Vietnamese exports to Egypt made up US$249 million.
