Dong Nai to break ground on Ma Da forest road and six transport projects

Dong Nai will begin construction of several key transport projects, including a road through the Ma Da forest area, to strengthen links with Long Thanh Airport and the wider Southeast region.

The Dong Nai People's Committee has announced plans for groundbreaking ceremonies and land handovers for major transport infrastructure projects across the province.

Under the plan, authorities will launch and hand over sites for seven strategic transport projects.

On June 30, Dong Nai will begin construction of three projects: a road connecting Ma Da Bridge and Ba Hao Junction under a public-private partnership (PPP) model; a land clearance and frontage road project for the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 section passing through Dong Nai; and Nguyen Huu Canh Boulevard.

The province will also hold a ceremony to hand over land for the Suoi Tien-Dong Nai Administrative Centre-Long Thanh Airport metro line, which is planned under a PPP model.

In July, Dong Nai will launch two additional projects to upgrade and widen roads linking the northeastern part of the province with Long Thanh Airport.

According to provincial authorities, the projects are intended to create a more diverse, integrated and modern transport network while strengthening both local and regional connectivity.

The developments are also expected to support urban infrastructure expansion and improve transport links to Long Thanh International Airport, one of Vietnam's largest infrastructure projects currently under construction.
