Saigon Children’s Charity will organise a cycling event in the central province of Thua Thien Hue from November 17 to 21 to raise funds for children.
Participants will explore villages in Hue while making their way to Lang Co. They will climb Hai Van pass, a mountain road described as the king of highways, and continue towards Da Nang along scenic coastal roads.
On the final day, participants will be taken to the UNESCO-listed Cham sanctuary in My Son before reaching their final destination -- Hoi An.
The trip will be around 180 km long.
A $500 registration fee will cover the entire cost, including flight, local transport, bicycle and equipment, and meals and accommodation.
Saigon Children’s Charity has requested participants to raise a minimum of $500 besides which it will use to help eliminate poverty through education for disadvantaged children.
