BRG Group and Sumitomo Corporation have held a signing ceremony for cooperation memorandum of understanding (MOU) as strategic partners in order to collaborate in real estate and retail.

The MOU signing ceremony cements the foundation for partnership between Sumitomo Corporation and BRG Group to explore potential joint projects in real-estate development, Nhat Tan – Noi Bai master planning, high - tech agricultural zone project, retail and various new business sectors.
Cooperation between BRG, a leading multi-sector economic group in Vietnam with in-depth knowledge about the local market, and Sumitomo, one of the largest trading and investment corporations in Japan, is an important landmark for expansion, business activity, and matching strategy to grow the two-parties brand creditability.
At the signing ceremony, Mr. Masao Sekiuchi, CEO of Sumitomo Corporation Asia & Oceania emotionally said: “Sumitomo sees BRG Group as a leading private group in Vietnam. We believe BRG Group has what we are looking for in a local partner. That’s the reason we are here today – to sign the Memorandum of Understanding between BRG Group and Sumitomo Corporation. This MOU shall lay the foundations of our partnership and enable us to work closely together on specific business agreements that produce new synergies and add value to both parties”.

In Vietnam, Sumitomo was first established in 1955 as a representative office and became Sumitomo Corporation Vietnam LLC in 2007. Sumitomo have contributed broadly to the Vietnamese economy and society through diversified business activities of import and export, manufacturing and processing, development of industrial parks, power plants, urban railways, and many other meaningful CSR activities.
The MOU clearly illustrates that both sides expect to build a long-term and sustainable relationship as strategic partners that will bring benefit to business development to all.
