The bad weather has been forecasted to affect airports in the southern region of Vietnam in some days to come.

According to the Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation (VATM), between May 25-29, southern airports would see downpours and whirlwinds. This would affect flights.

Similar weather would hit Phu Quoc, Rach Gia, Ca Mau and Can Tho airports in the morning, while Tan Son Nhat International Airport and Con Dao Airport would be impacted at noon or late afternoon.

The heavy rain, violent wind and lightning would pose dangers for aviation activities. VATM’s meteorological unit will need to keep close watch on weather conditions.
