Authorities in Bac Giang have approved a project to build a new urban area combined with a golf course worth over VND6 trillion (USD253.90 million). Photo for illustration.
The project would cover an area of 134 hectares at Nham Bien Mountain in Yen Dung District, around 60 kilometres from Hanoi.
Of which, 88 hectares would be reserved for a sports tourism development area and golf course while the remainder would be invested for a housing project that includes 1,000 low-rise houses and two blocks of social housing.
Authorities hoped the project would contribute to socioeconomic development and address urban housing issues.
The project must be finished within 72 months from the date of approval, and have an operating period of 50 years.
