At the recent meeting of the ASEAN-China joint working team in Hanoi, the parties all reaffirmed their commitment to full respect and realization of the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties (DOC) in the Eastern Sea.
The meeting has lasted on April 16-17, reviewing the implementation of the DOC and discussing ways of coordination for more effective realization of the Declaration.
The DOC, signed between ASEAN and China, is an important document to strengthen trust for peace, security and cooperation in the region.
The results of the meeting will be submitted to the ASEAN-China Senior Officials Meeting on the DOC.
