As many as 5,000 people joined in a yoga performance that was recognised by VietKings as the most attended yoga session on Saturday morning in Hanoi.

The event, titled F5 Yourself with Yoga, attracted participants from many professions and age groups, both professional yogis and new practitioners who came to share their love for yoga and perform a relaxing session at the My Dinh National Stadium at 5.30 am on August 12.


The event saw the attendance of Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong and Indian Ambassador to Vietnam Sandeep Arya.

Together with the country’s best yogis who came to provide guidance and share experiences, many celebrity participants also joined, including President of the World Yoga Alliance in Southeast Asia Tran Thi Diem Huong, Miss Yoga Vietnam 2022 Nguyen Son, Miss Vietnam 2010 Dang Thi Ngoc Han, and yoga trainer Quach Thu Phuong, among others.

After performing a yoga session, the participants also participated in a record-breaking formation of the Vietnamese national flag.

Coming to the event, visitors had chances to follow talk shows on healthcare and beauty care with the attendance of doctors at Thu Cuc TCI and yoga experts. People also had opportunities to have their best photos in yoga taken by professional photographers.

All the participants were given personalised certificates and medals They also received gifts including yoga clothing and equipment, and a health-checkup package worth over VND4 million.

The event, co-organised by Dantri/Dtinews Newspaper and Thu Cuc Medical System TCI, is aimed at promoting fitness and connecting communities.

Speaking at the event, Editor-in-Chief of Dantri/Dtinews Newspaper and head of the organising board, Pham Tuan Anh, shared that, “Through the Dantri Yoga Festival, we want to spread positive energy in people's lives, at the same time promote unity within our community."


General Secretary of Indochina Book of Records and Chief Representative of the North Vietnam Record Association, Hoang Thai Tuan Anh, and Chairman of the Global Vietnamese Records Organization (VietWorld) Ngo Quang Xuan presented the VietKings Record certificate to Editor-in-Chief of Dantri/Dtinews Newspaper Pham Tuan Anh.
