
Police detain a man involved in the gun attacks in Cu Kuin District, Dak Lak Province
Three of the assailants gave themselves up to the police, the police official said on Wednesday morning, adding that they were calling for other accomplices who participated in the attacks to turn themselves in.
"Six more were arrested on the afternoon of June 13 and one other gave himself up to the police in the evening," Xo said.
Police also seized a number of military weapons, including CKC rifles.
According to the Dak Lak Provincial Police Department, daily life has resumed in the localities with heightened attention to security.
Earlier on Sunday morning, an unidentified group of individuals used guns to attack the headquarters of two people's committees of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes in Cu Kuin District, killing nine people, including four police officers, two commune officials and three local residents. Two other police officers were seriously injured.
