The bridge, which cost VND2.97 trillion (USD117.15 million) to build, spans 4.27 kilometres and connects Road 902 in My An Commune, Mang Thit District, Vinh Long Province, to National Highway 57 in Phu Phung Commune, Cho Lach District, Ben Tre Province.

According to the environmental impact assessment report, the project will cover around 20.6 hectares of land and does not pose any environmentally sensitive concerns.
Work on the four-lane bridge is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2027.
The project investment will be sourced from the State budget and private sector.
Once operational, the project will help reduce traffic congestion on National Highway 57 and replace the existing Dinh Khao ferry service.
