The pair went missing while visiting the site at about 11.45 am, with one suffering exhaustion and dizziness after being stung by wild bees, according to police.
After receiving the report, officers instructed the tourists to remain where they were while rescue teams, including firefighting and emergency personnel, were deployed to search trails, streams and rugged terrain in the forest.
The tourists were found in a remote area at about 4 pm, given first aid and escorted safely out of the forest in stable condition.
