
The man from Thanh Hoa Province, showed signs of loss of balance and cyanosis aboard the HA BINH STAR tourist boat (QN-8933), which had departed from Halong International Passenger Port at around 10.43 am.
The Halong-Yen Tu Safety Monitoring and Rescue Centre coordinated with a medical team to administer first aid on board before transferring him ashore by speedboat.
He was taken to Quang Ninh General Hospital for further treatment. Thanks to the timely response, the patient is now conscious, stable and able to walk.
Authorities are continuing to assist with hospital procedures and insurance formalities.
Quang Ninh has officially deployed round-the-clock medical teams on Halong Bay starting April 2 to provide immediate first aid and handle health emergencies for tourists.
