Art performances are scheduled for 7 pm on April 29 at Nguyen Hue pedestrian street, the central park of the new urban area and Tam Thang Square.
A fireworks display will run from 9 pm to 9.15 pm on April 30, with the municipal Department of Culture and Sports coordinating plans with the city’s High Command.
The city will also organise street lighting displays and host the 50th traditional April 30 cross-country race as part of the Ho Chi Minh City Open Championships 2026.
