Domestic visitors totalled 2.31 million, up 15.7 per cent, while international arrivals rose 6.9 per cent to about 780,000, according to the Hanoi Department of Tourism.
Tourism revenue for the month was estimated at VND 12.65 trillion (USD 481 million).

In the first four months of 2026, Hanoi welcomed about 12.14 million visitors, up 20.9 per cent year-on-year, generating VND 50.86 trillion in tourism revenue, an increase of 22.8 per cent.
The city said it was expanding green and sustainable tourism products, including new heritage and craft village routes linking cultural and traditional craft destinations around the capital.
Hanoi is also promoting wellness, educational and nature-based tourism products while stepping up digital transformation and workforce training to improve visitor experience.
Authorities aim to attract 12 million international visitors annually by 2030 as part of a broader tourism development strategy.
