The 40-year-old woman was stopped on Mai Xuan Thuong Street at around 8.30 pm on Friday after officers noticed signs of erratic driving.
She failed to produce a motorcycle driving licence during the inspection. A breathalyser test later showed an alcohol concentration of 0.075mg per litre of breath.

Police issued fines totalling VND 5.5 million, including VND 2.5 million for the alcohol-related offence and VND 3 million for riding a motorbike under 125cc without a licence.
The vehicle owner was also fined VND 9 million for allowing an unqualified person to operate the motorbike.
Later the same evening, officers stopped a 45-year-old Ukrainian national for riding a motorbike above 125cc without a licence recognised under Vietnamese law.

The man was fined VND 6 million, while the vehicle owner received a further VND 9 million penalty for handing over the vehicle to an unqualified driver.
According to Khanh Hoa traffic police, the two cases were among several recent violations involving foreigners failing to comply with Vietnamese traffic laws.
Authorities said patrols and inspections would continue, with stricter enforcement targeting drink-driving and unlicensed motorbike use among both residents and tourists.
