Authorities in Lam Dong Province have requested clarification from a tourism operator over electric go-kart activities at Dalat Fantasy Flower Park, citing concerns about compliance and visitor safety.
According to the Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, a notice has been issued requiring Dalat Ao Mong Co. Ltd. to provide detailed information on its operations at the site.
The request follows a report from Xuan Huong-Dalat Ward authorities, who raised safety concerns over electric go-kart services operating on a track of around 300 metres.
The department noted that the company had previously registered the site as a public landscape flower park, with no mention of electric go-kart activities. As a result, regulators had no basis to assess or approve the service at the time.
The company has yet to respond to the request. It has been urged to submit the required documentation promptly and coordinate with local authorities to ensure full compliance with tourism safety regulations.
Local authorities have been assigned to continue monitoring and supervising the site to ensure adherence to legal requirements.
