The reserve located at 1,982 metres above sea level and has 52 islands of different sizes. Most of them remain untouched.

Ta Dung Lake is at its most beautiful from April to November as it has more water, and the rains help trees to grow better.

Since Dong Nai Hydropower Plant became operational, many people have rushed to Ta Dung Lake to earn their living. Dozens of floating houses can be found on the lake.

People there are almost completely isolated from the outside world. Tourists can explore the islands by using local residents’ boats and canoes.

Ta Dung Mountain is seen as the roof of Dak Nong which is covered by cloud all around the year. For many years, Chau Ma ethnic people lived at the foot of the mountain.

Ta Dung Natural Reserve has been planned to become an ecological and cultural tourist site, however, the project has not yet been carried out.
