HCM City Green Park Ltd. Co. staff have been sent to Hanoi to help clear fallen trees following Typhoon Yagi.

On Wednesday, 26 skilled workers from HCM City Green Park Ltd. Co. tirelessly worked on Hanoi streets despite heavy rain.

At 8 am, many workers arrived at the intersection of Cu Chinh Lan and Truong Chinh streets in Thanh Xuan District to cut down trees over 30 metres tall that had fallen into residential areas.

According to Nguyen Doan Hai, the company's deputy director, the workers brought to Hanoi were experienced. "The work often finishes late at night; therefore, the team must be healthy," Hai added.

Hoan Kiem and Ba Dinh are among the localities with the most affected trees by the typhoon. The team prioritises removing fallen trees that pose safety hazards to the public and block traffic.

Many roads in Hanoi are so narrow that they cause difficulties for the team's work.

Around 24,800 trees in Hanoi fell due to the impact of Typhoon Yagi.

The HCM City Green Park Ltd. Co has also mobilised 22 workers to Haiphong to assist the city on this occasion.
