The Cham Islands are in the central province of Quang Nam’s Hoi An City. They boast diverse coral species that attract snorkeling and scuba divers.

The Cham Islands in Tan Hiep Commune are recognised as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

These were the first islands in Vietnam to reveal a rich coral system with over 300 species.

Tourists must take a canoe to authorised diving locations. Depending on the type, coral diving costs VND150,000-950,000 (USD5.89-37.32) each.

Noon or the afternoon is often the best time for coral diving, as the clear sea water allows people to see the coral better.

Visitors to Cham Islands play a crucial role in preserving the environment by adhering to local regulations, such as refraining from using plastic bags and littering.
