Hanoi is currently experiencing red silk cotton flower season.

About 40 kilometres from the city centre, Doan Nu Village is home to around 30 red silk cotton trees whose scientific name is Bombax ceiba.

The village attracts many people who come to take photos in the red silk cotton flower season. This kind of tree is a symbol of Vietnam’s rural areas.
