Yen Bai Province reported 48 deaths and two missing. Following the typhoon, as many as 22,900 local houses were damaged by flooding.
Meanwhile, Tuyen Quang Province witnessed five deaths, including two on Thursday.
The floodwaters in the northern mountainous provinces have receded, and residents are now working to recover from the aftermath.
Meanwhile, other northern localities, including Ninh Binh and Ha Nam, are still struggling with inundation.
