Hanoi tourist sites crowded on Tet days
Many tourist sites in Hanoi have seen a large number of visitors during Tet Lunar New Year Festival.
On February 11, the second day of Tet, Truc Bach Lake received many visitors, which caused congestion on nearby Thanh Nien Street.
Thanks to the nice weather, the peddle boat service on the lake attracted lots of people who had to queue for a long time.
At the Temple of Literature, many visited a calligraphy festival and joined in various entertainment activities and traditional games being held throughout Tet at the site.
Thang Long Royal Citadel has also been popular during Tet with its architecture and beautiful decorations.

Quan Thanh Temple has been crowded since the first day of Tet with people coming to pray for good luck for the new lunar year.
Many cafes on Nguyen Huu Huan Street have opened since February 11 and have always been crowded.
