Fox Sports Asia has issued a list of the nine best coaches in the Asian football history, including Park Hang-Seo who is the coach of the Vietnamese men’s football and U23 squads.

Alfred Riedl, the former coach of the Vietnamese men’s football team, is also mentioned in the list.
The others selected are Alberto Zaccheroni, the former coach of Japan and UAE and Carlos Queiroz; Guus Hiddink; Radojko Avramović; Kiatisak Senamuang; Félix Sánchez Bas and K.Rajagopal who are the former strategists of Iran, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Qatar and Malaysia respectively.
Park has been working with the Vietnamese Football Federation since October 2017. Since then, he has helped Vietnam to claim a second-place finish at the 2018 AFC U23 Championship in China. Under his training, the Vietnamese men’s football team also secured the gold medal at SEA Games 30 in the Philippines.
