Showbiz industry seems to be always boisterous and this year has seen several scandals that involved in famous celebrities.
Hong Que, infamous model

The Hanoian teenaged model, Hong Que, has become notorious over several scandals this year. Despite being beautiful and even having the potential of becoming the next Miss Vietnam, Hong Que’s career has been on the decline after she shocked her fans with scandalous photos and performances.
In early May, Hong Que was involved in a scuffle in Hanoi, in which she was accused of assaulting another woman. She was arrested as a result.
Unfortunately for her, as soon as the scandal started to cool down, another arose from some photos taken of her on a motorbike without a helmet or scantily clad.
The peak of public controversy came with the outfit Hong Que chose to wear to attend the Hanoi International Film Festival, without official invitation.

Vu Thu Phuong
Vuong Thu Phuong was crowned Vietnam Supermodel, 2011. However, after her victory, some negative sides of her private life were dug up.
She was said to have violated the contest’s rules for having been married before entering the contest.
Despite her denials, and even with backup from the organising board, reports on her life continued to surface, many of them untrue.
Even though she was a nearly perfect contestant, the rumours caught up to her when she was not allowed to enroll as a candidate for Miss Vietnam.
According to the organisation board, she had organised a wedding and lived with a man without having a marriage certificate.
She was also criticised for the "sexy" costume she wore at the event which she was disqualified from.

My Xuan, Miss South Mekong 2009
My Xuan’s scandal is widely considered one of the most notorious incidents in the Vietnamese showbiz this year.
Miss South Mekong 2009 was allegedly running a high-end escort service, involving well-known Vietnamese models, beauty contestants and even students.
HCM City police believe that they have discovered several other singers, actresses and models that were involved.
The case has attracted great attention from foreign media. The attention she got has seemed to negate old adage that "all publicity is good publicity".
