The event will introduce fashion items made from Bao Loc silk and traditional brocade costumes of K’ Ho and Chau Ma ethnic minority groups by 10 silk producers, including A Chau Silk, Bao Loc Silk, Ha Bao Silk, Minh Tuyet Silk and Nhat Minh Silk, and 15 designers.

The designs will be performed by 50 models from Hanoi and HCM City along with 40 local students and some amateur ethnic models.
According to Fashion designer Minh Hanh, this will be an ideal occasion for Lam Dong to promote Bao Loc silk and brocade clothes of ethnic minority groups.
Sericulture is seen as a key sector of Bao Loc City and some other areas in Lam Dong, providing jobs for thousands of people.
The area is home to 10,000 hectares of mulberry, whose 12,000-15,000 tonnes of cocoons provides silk for local businesses.
