Petrol prices slightly fall by VND400 per litre

Domestic retail petroleum prices dropped slightly at 3 pm today, October 31, following a decision by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

The price of biofuel E5 RON92 fell by VND290 per litre to VND19,400 per litre, while RON95 dropped by VND390 per litre to VND20,500 per litre.

Meanwhile, diesel prices increased slightly by VND90 per litre to VND18,140 per litre, kerosene up by VND260 per litre to VND18,830 per litre, and mazut prices up by VND240 per kilo to VND16,460 per kilo.

The two ministries decided not to use the petrol price stabilisation fund this time.

Since early this year, petrol prices have increased 20 times and decreased 23 times, while diesel prices have risen 19 times and dropped 23 times.
