According to Ngoc Khanh Ward’s authorities, once put into use, the street would help create jobs for 450 people.

The highlight of the street is several details and symbols reminiscent of the Giang Vo Duong, an area for practising martial arts, teaching military techniques and high-level military demonstrations of dynasties in the feudal capital of Thang Long.

The lighting system around Ngoc Khanh Lake features designs inspired by soldiers, showcasing martial arts training with various weapons such as bows, arrows, crossbows, swords and spears.

Ngoc Khanh Lake Pedestrian Street will be open from 7 pm on Fridays to midnight on Sundays every week. After the trial period, a review will be conducted to consider extending the operation to seven days a week.
