From Hanoi city centre, people can take a bus directly to Ba Vi through Thang Long Avenue. This trip usually takes 1-2 hours.
Upon reaching the entrance of the National Park, visitors need to stop to buy tickets before heading to the mountain summit.

According to residents, between September and November, if you miss the chance to catch the sunrise at 3 or 4 am, you can still enjoy the views at around 9 am or noon.
Clouds often appear if it rained the day before, so travellers must check weather forecasts before their trip.
Some locations where you can glimpse the sea of clouds in Ba Vi are the Ba Vi National Park peaks like Ngoc Hoa, Tan Vien and Vua. Some coffee shops and resorts at an elevation of 1,100 metres also offer great views of the clouds.
In about 2 to 3 weeks, it will be the wildflower season in Ba Vi.
