Located in Ha Lang District's Vinh Quy Commune, the hills are around 70 kilometres from the centre of Cao Bang City.
Visitors to Vinh Quy should visit between May and October, when they can immerse themselves in a picturesque natural landscape.
The Kiet, a 31-year-old photographer from Hanoi, visited the area in the early morning and captured many of the spot's best moments.
In the summer, visitors can enjoy the fresh air and camping activities along with outdoor BBQ parties on the hills.
People can park their vehicles at the foot of the tallest hill and walk up about 700 metres to the peak. The path is short but quite challenging. At present, the location remains free.
According to Kiet, the ideal time to visit is early morning or at sunset.
From October to January, the grass on the hilly landscape turns orange-yellow.
The first Vinh Quy Grass Hills Festival was held in December last year, helping to promote the place.
