
Hung Vuong Street in Chau Thanh District is home to around 160 pink trumpet trees, which often burst into bloom every March.

Native to the Americas, the pink trumpet tree grows between 8 and 15 metres tall. It often loses its leaves before blooming, producing thick clusters of bell-shaped flowers, which is why it is also known as the bellflower.

The blossoms last about 3 to 4 days before falling and blanketing the ground.

Le Trinh from Can Tho City said that she and her husband visit the road every year to take photos with the pink trumpet flowers. This year, more people have been visiting the area as the Pink Trumpet Flower Festival is set to take place soon.

March is the best time to see the pink trumpet flowers along Hung Vuong Street.

Various services have been set up along the road to meet tourists' needs. Soc Trang has announced that it will host its first-ever Pink Trumpet Flower Festival from March 15 to 19 in Chau Thanh District. The festival will feature a variety of cultural, sports, and culinary activities that highlight local traditions.
