The municipal people’s committee decided that flower markets will take place in different localities from January 8 to January 28.
A Tet flower market in Hanoi
Guests visiting the markets can purchase various types of flowers, ornamental plants, fruit trees, and handicraft products.
One market will be arranged in Hoan Kiem District, stretching the streets of Hang Luoc, Hang Ma, Hang Khoai, Hang Ruoi and Phung Hung.
Two markets will be held in Hai Ba Trung District’s Thong Nhat and Tuoi Tre parks.
Dong Da District will have four Tet flower markets on Hoang Cau, Dang Tien Dong, and Cau Moi Streets.
There will be nine flower markets in Ha Dong District.
Meanwhile, other Tet flower markets will also be set up in the districts of Thanh Xuan, Nam Tu Liem, Bac Tu Liem, Hoang Mai, Tay Ho, Thanh Tri, Thanh Oai, Thuong Tin, Dong Anh, Gia Lam, and Son Tay Town.
The areas where the Tet flower markets will be organised are asked to ensure traffic safety and environmental sanitation.
