An electric tourist vehicle in Da Lat
On the section from the Tran Quoc Toan-Yersin to the Tran Quoc Toan-Tran Nhan Tong junction, and from the Tran Quoc Toan-Dinh Tien Hoang to the Dinh Tien Hoang-Tran Nhan Tong intersections, electric vehicles are restricted to the inner right lane for motorcycles and non-motorised vehicles only.
The tourist vehicle service in Da Lat was halted from February 15.
Da Lat has also banned horse-drawn carriages from transporting people around Xuan Huong Lake since February 25. According to local authorities, this service operated around the lake without licenses or public pricing, while the operators failed to implement safety measures, posing the risk of accidents.
Nguyen Van Son, vice chairman of the Da Lat People’s Committee, said in the near future, the city will arrange for more suitable areas for horse-drawn carriages to operate.
