As both an architect and a content creator on TikTok, 30-year-old Vu Hoang Tuan Anh from Hanoi spends more than eight hours a day working from home. Therefore, he prioritises a scientifically designed and well-equipped workspace to maximise productivity and efficiency.

"I want my workspace to meet all my professional needs. After multiple upgrades for better suitability, I have invested over VND100 million in this setup," Tuan Anh enthusiastically shared.

The most significant expense was on his computer system and monitors. He spent approximately VND60 million on his PC, which was assembled about four years ago. Although it is no longer the latest configuration, it still meets the demands of specialised graphic tasks and high-quality video editing.

"My workspace has evolved. Initially, I had just two monitors, one for displaying ideas and another for 2D and 3D design," he explained. "After transitioning into content creation on TikTok, I added two vertical monitors to facilitate content tracking and video editing. Each piece of equipment is carefully selected to optimise functionality while maintaining aesthetic appeal."

Additionally, he is passionate about mechanical keyboards and owns a diverse collection, neatly displayed on a dedicated shelf.

"A keyboard is a bridge between me and my computer, so the unique typing experience of each mechanical keyboard provides me with a special source of inspiration while working," he shared.

Tuan Anh uses a monitor stand to conceal cables, keeping his workspace tidy and his desk more organised. He has also invested in an ergonomic chair and a screen light to protect his health. Moreover, he has equipped his setup with content creation tools such as a microphone and specialised headphones.

Tuan Anh decorates the space with a pegboard to display tools and model kits, adding vibrancy and inspiration. He has also installed a lighting system that synchronises with music beats, creating an engaging visual effect.

His workspace has won several awards in desk setup competitions and is well-recognised within setup enthusiast communities. Beyond his main workstation, Tuan Anh has arranged three additional work areas, each serving a specific purpose.

"Each workspace has a unique function, allowing me to be more flexible in content creation. When sitting in a space I love, inspiration comes naturally, similar to how women feel when sitting at their dressing tables," he said. "This, in turn, boosts my work efficiency."

According to Tuan Anh, those passionate about workspace setups will always seek to upgrade them over time. There is no need for a significant initial investment; gradual improvements will eventually create a well-rounded and personalised workspace.
